Dry, combination, oily skin… What hydration routine?Regardless of your skin type and level of maturity, preserving its hydration rate is essential, especially since the more your skin is hydrated, the more it will be able to absorb all the other active ingredients (antioxidants, plumping, lightening, etc.). In winter, blood circulation concentrates on the vital internal organs to keep them at the right temperature, thus abandoning the external organ, your skin, which will therefore be less nourished. In summer, your skin is no less subject to external aggressions, especially those from the sun which dehydrate it. As you will have understood, maintaining a good level of skin hydration is all year round! However, each skin type does not have the same needs... So here's how to hydrate your skin according to your type with an In & Out routine. You should also know that you can at any time take Appointment with our expert for a free skin diagnosis ! NABILAJanuary 20231. Skin continually dehydrates itself The skin is a complex structure made up of 3 main layers: the hypodermis, the dermis, where skin cells are synthesized, and the epidermis. The cells migrate in 28 days all along the 5 layers of the epidermis up to its final layer - the stratum corneum - and synthesize all along this migration keratins, fibrous and water-insoluble proteins, which go ensure the impermeability and protection of the skin against external agents. This stratum corneum is covered with a hydrolipidic film, a kind of natural and waterproof wax coating composed of water, oils, sweat, sebum and membranes stripped of their keratin content. This first natural barrier is a protective shield against dehydration. It is therefore important to take care of it as a priority if you want to have beautiful, well-hydrated skin. From the age of 20, the body continues to lose water. Every day, you must ensure that your skin receives maximum hydration because it loses a much higher quantity of water than you might think! Indeed, there are several types of water flow that affect this epidermis which measures barely 0.1 mm thick or even 0.05 mm at the level of the eyelids. First there is perspiration, this permanent phenomenon of thermal equilibrium by elimination of water from the skin. This insensible continuous evaporation represents approximately ½ liter of water per day. To this is added the dehydration of the body due to breathing through pulmonary evaporation estimated at 1 liter of water per day and finally sweating. To hydrate the skin, it is faster and more optimal to act on its ability to retain water inside the epidermis than to act on its ability to make it penetrate it. Therefore, it is necessary to resort to care which makes it possible on the one hand to avoid water leakage by cementing the cells, on the other hand to capture the water to retain it inside the cell and finally to boost the distribution of water inside the cell by the aquaporins which are in a way the water channels. The hydration of the skin will also go through an In & Out routine to make up for at least all the daily water loss. But the most moisturizing treatment will not work if the pores are clogged!
